Lay down a rock-solid, infectious groove that comforts the band and commands the crowd to dance, one that's just right for the song. Be a song-focused team player.
In a nutshell, this is my go-to formula. Sure, it's easier said than done. In my opinion, this is a timeless approach shared by the vast majority of “hit makers.”
