I'm a well-rounded Rock drummer with a penchant for original music. (Sorry, if you're looking for a metal head or thrash-rocker, I'm not your guy.)
As a freelance drummer in the Cleveland, Ohio area, I'm often called to sub/fill in with local bands. I've been very lucky: I've played almost every venue in Cleveland, from small clubs to packed arenas, and I've travelled the US, Canada and UK playing drums, sharing the stage with many national acts.
What to expect.
I am used to learning material quickly (ask me about the time I learned 3 hours of songs and played for a capacity crowd of 500+ a few days later).
I can take direction, learn by ear and read charts/sheet music. I can groove with a click or without. I'll show up to the venue ready to rock.
I try to be as professional as possible at all times. I don't have drug/alcohol abuse issues, and I like to think I don't have the rock star ego as well. I just like to have fun playing great music with great musicians.
